Hal Brewster is a litigator in Perkins Coie’s political law group. Hal has litigated voting rights and elections cases in state and federal courts across the country, including defending against several attacks by the Trump campaign against the results of the 2020 election in Arizona and Nevada. Prior to his law career, Hal spent four years as an active duty U.S. Army officer. As a scout and sniper platoon leader, Hal led 40 specialized soldiers in more than 150 combat missions in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is the recipient of the Bronze Star medal for service. Hal earned his JD from the Georgetown University Law Center.
