Gavin Quinn is an Assistant State’s Attorney at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in Chicago, Illinois, a position he has held for 3 years. Gavin is currently assigned to the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Unit handling primarily misdemeanors, and has been for the past two years. Gavin was hired by the State’s Attorney’s Office in 2016 upon graduating from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and has held positions in the Financial Crimes/Public Corruption Unit, the Criminal Appeals Unit, and the Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Division. Gavin is a member of the National Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Bar Association and a board member of the Lesbian and Gay Bar Association of Chicago. Gavin is also holds the position of Social Chair/Community Engagement Chair as part of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office’s LGBT+ Employee Resource Group.
