Educating the judiciary on LGBTQ issues often falls to LGBTQ bar associations or attorneys, especially in states that are less than friendly to the LGBTQ community. In this workshop, attendees will learn how to create interest in and develop LGBTQ education programming for judges, and/or how to integrate LGBTQ issues into existing judicial education. Topics to be addressed include drumming up interest in LGBTQ trainings, selecting effective presenters and crafting programming that will attract judicial officers and best benefit LGBTQ people and communities in your state or local area.
