While so-called gay marriage, other same-sex partnership issues, and more recently, transgender issues, have become more prominent in legal discourse, the experiences and lives of bisexual people are rarely explicitly considered in social and legal narratives, despite the fact that bisexuals comprise more than half of the LGBTQIA+ community and are among our most marginalized in terms of discrimination and poverty rates.
