Steven Slawinski is an Assistant Federal Public Defender in the Western District of New York. He has been a criminal defense attorney for 18 years, practicing both in federal and military courts. He began his career as a Judge Advocate in the United States Army representing soldiers accused at courts-martial. Originally from Buffalo, Steve graduated from Georgetown University and the University at Buffalo Law School. He lives in Rochester, New York with his husband and their labradoodle.
