Katie Eyer is a Professor at Rutgers Law School, and an anti-discrimination law teacher, scholar and litigator. Her writing on textualism and LGBTQ rights has been widely credited with influencing the Supreme Court’s decision in the case of Bostock v. Clayton County, which held that Title VII’s employment discrimination protections extend to the LGBTQ community. Prior to entering academia, Katie launched one of the first LGBTQ employment rights projects in the country, and litigated employment discrimination cases on behalf of LGBTQ, disabled and other minority workers.
