In response to the Trump Administration repeatedly threatening to cut federal funding to Minnesota schools if the state does not cave to the Administration’s attempts to deny civil rights of transgender people, Minnesota filed a complaint arguing that two of President Trump’s executive orders targeting transgender children and adults violate U.S. Constitution and Title IX. The state is also asking the court to stop Department of Justice threats to Minnesota.
