The plaintiff alleges that, following Executive Order 14168 “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government,” the National Security Administration’s (NSA) anti-transgender policies created a hostile work environment. The plaintiff claims that NSA cancelled its policy protecting transgender employees from discrimination and harassment at work and issued policies that prevent the plaintiff, an employee, from her pronouns in work communications, accessing or viewing information about her civil rights under Title VII, and from using restrooms that align with her gender identity. As a direct result, the plaintiff now must use single-occupancy restrooms, and has been forced to restrict her food and water intake to minimize her need to use the restroom while at work due to limited bathroom availability. The plaintiff is seeking to enjoin the agency from implementing or enforcing the orders and policies. She also seeks declaratory relief and compensatory damages.
