Samuel Light (he/him) is the Senior Legal Director at Multiverse, the UK-based education technology company, where he leads work across commercial, regulatory, AI and data, M&A, and IPO readiness. He joined Multiverse in 2026 after more than a decade in private practice and in-house roles spanning New York and London.

Previously, Samuel was senior disputes and regulatory counsel at South Pole, the climate solutions company, advising on litigation, employment, and compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions. Before moving in-house, he was a Senior Litigation Associate at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson in New York, where he handled complex commercial, white-collar, and regulatory litigation and chaired the firm’s Pride Alliance. Earlier in his career, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ona T. Wang of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Samuel lives in London with his husband Brian and their goldendoodle, Blanche.
