We are thrilled to launch our second-ever virtual midyear program aimed at connecting small firms and local nonprofits with LGBTQ+ law students interested in employment opportunities.
Taking place on February 10, 2024, this virtual event will provide smaller firms and local organizations the opportunity to recruit and network with LGBTQ+ members of the legal community. Please note that this event is separate from Lavender Law®, the LGBTQ+ Bar’s flagship in-person event each year. Unlike Lavender Law®, which holds the largest legal diversity career fair in the country, with many participating firms being from the AM200, all recruiting law firms at this virtual event will have 100 or fewer attorneys. We are excited to launch an entirely virtual career fair, hosting smaller firms, as well as local nonprofits and government agencies from medium markets around the country.
When: February 10, 2024
What is this Event?
A virtual midyear program put forth by the LGBTQ+ Bar that will hold a career fair for small to midsize firms (up to 100 lawyers), local nonprofits, and government agencies. Career Fair starts at 1 PM Eastern and ends at 4 PM!
Who Should Participate?
Smaller regional firms and other legal organizations that are interested in recruiting LGBTQ+ law students seeking internships and other employment opportunities, or a niche area of practice in a boutique firm setting.
Next Steps.

This programming is intended for smaller regional firms and other legal organizations that are interested in recruiting LGBTQ+ law students that are seeking internships and other employment opportunities in or close to their hometown or school, or a niche area of practice in a boutique firm setting.
Whether your firm is primarily interested in recruiting LGBTQ+ talent or learning more about LGBTQ+ best practices in the workplace, the virtual event is one that you do not want to miss. There is no better way to show your current and prospective employees and colleagues that you are committed to LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace.
Again, please note that this virtual event does not replace the multitude of educational panels, in-person networking, and direct opportunities to interface with legal LGBTQ+ leaders in the movement found at the Lavender Law® Conference and Career Fair. Our goal is to create entirely new opportunities for smaller firms to recruit LGBTQ+ legal talent for summer internships, fellowships, and post-graduation permanent employment.
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or for more information. Thank you and we hope to partner with you for this exciting program!
