Dale Noll, an associate in the Miami office of Akerman, LLP, has been attending the National LGBT Bar’s Annual Conference and Career Fair since he was a student in 2010. Looking back, Dale remembers, “Lavender Law helped me get my summer associate position.” He became a member of the LGBT Bar after he was sworn in as an attorney in 2012 and has become increasingly involved over the past seven years. We are so pleased to introduce Dale as the new Association President! In this role, Dale seeks to ensure that the organization continues to be an important resource in furthering its members professional development and supporting LGBT legal professionals’ success.
Dale represents trustees, personal representatives, and beneficiaries in a wide variety of fiduciary issues and assists them in their roles as fiduciaries in administering estates and trusts. A particular focus of his practice is the representation of fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and other interested parties in high conflict, complex, and high-profile guardianship, trust, and probate matters. As a member of his firm’s trusts and estates section, Dale is excited to revitalize a trusts and estates group within the LGBT Bar. “I most enjoy learning from my colleagues about issues, experiences, and priorities that I was either unaware of or wanting to learn more about.”
He has been consistently active in local and national LGBT organizations by participation, public speaking, or authoring works on LGBT legal issues.
Dale says he is “looking forward to [his] tenure as President of the LGBT Bar Association and helping grow membership while providing meaningful opportunities for existing members to connect and grow their professional networks. As a community, we need now more than ever to work together to provide an environment that provides protection and opportunities for our colleagues and our clients.”
The LGBT Bar is excited to see what’s to come under Dale’s leadership for the 2017-2018 term!
