Counseling services are provided by a single psychologist who makes efforts to self-educate about providing culturally competent care.
Each bathroom has signage that states that we welcome all members of our community to use the restroom that is consistent with their self-identification.

We have worked with OUTLaw to improve career counseling for LGBTQ+ students, including creating a Dress for Success tip sheet that harmonizes traditional professional expectations with the breadth of gender expression that can manifest in attire. We maintain a non-discrimination policy for employers who wish to recruit on campus. We allow students to use their preferred name on their student ID card and class roster. For the past two years we have celebrated LGBTQ Spirit Day.
The Admissions process invites LGBTQ+ prospects and all diverse students to discuss their background, experience, interests and contribution to our diverse community in their personal statement or in an addendum. This experience is considered by the Admissions Committee as a critical part of its holistic review process.
