The University Health Center at the University of Georgia provides access to medical professionals who are trained to serve members of the LGBTQ+ community including providers who specifically serve transgender students.
The single-stall restrooms are labelled “restroom”. There are five single-stalled restrooms in Hirsch Hall (the law school’s main instructional facility) and one in the Dean Rusk International Law Center. All of these restrooms are accessible for people with disabilities.

The University of Georgia School of Law has paid the registration fees for students who attended the Lavender Law Conference. The School of Law has also reimbursed students for a portion of their travel costs to attend the conference.

The University of Georgia School of Law offers a Stonewall Scholarship for students who will contribute significantly to the diversity of the law school student body because they have demonstrated leadership in matters of concern to lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender individuals, or they have worked to build or are able to describe how they plan to advance LGBTQ persons’ full equality or dignity during their careers as lawyers.
Members of the University of Georgia School of Law’s OUTLaw organization, a student group that represents LGBTQIA law students and allies, regularly participate in the recruiting process by attending various recruiting events and sharing their experiences with prospective students.
