Students may select from a variety of sexual orientation and gender identification demographic options including, Asexual, Bisexual, Gay, Lesbian, Pansexual, Prefer not to disclose, Queer, Questioning or Unsure, Same-Gender Loving, Straight (Heterosexual), Androgyne, Demigender, Genderqueer or Gender Fluid, Trans Man, Trans Woman, Agender, Female, and Male.
Our data is from the incoming classes of 2023 and 2024. LGBTQ + questions were not asked for the Class of 2022 and prior.
We have actively sought out to employ diverse staff/faculty/administrators as follows: Faculty are recruited through Insight into Diversity; Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education and Diverse Issues in Higher Education. The College of Law provides eight “all gender” restrooms for use by students, staff, faculty, and members of the community. Each room is identified with a sign labeled ALL GENDER, with braille and symbols. All buildings at the University Utah with gender neutral facilities are indicated on the campus map under accessibility. There is no written restroom policy that applies to all campus.

The College of Law buys tables and participates in LGBTQ+ signature events. In addition, travel/conference funding (up to $600 annually) through the Student Government Organization on main campus.
