The Law School and Admissions Committee consider prospective students experiences as LGBTQ+ as a part of our holistic view of application materials.
Our Mizzou Law webpage dedicated to student organizations includes mention and descriptions of identity groups providing support for LGBTQ+ students, as well as for students of color or other underrepresented groups.
As a part of the registration process, an applicant has the option to self-describe their gender and LGBTQ+ status.
We ask for and use students preferred names on all correspondence and in person.
The law school advertises positions widely and actively seeks applications from candidates from a variety of backgrounds. The University adheres to state and federal nondiscrimination law and has its own nondiscrimination policy.
