The University Health Center employs health care providers who specifically serve transgender students. Medical professionals employed at the UHC are also trained on serving members of the LGBTQ+ community.
The all-gender restrooms are labelled “Restroom” and are identified on building maps. There are five single-stalled restrooms in Hirsch Hall/Annex and one in Dean Rusk Hall. There are ADA-compliant restrooms available in Hirsch Hall/Annex and Dean Rusk Hall.

Our law school has paid the registration fees for students who attended the Lavender Law conference. We have also reimbursed students for a portion of their travel costs to attend the conference.

The University of Georgia School of Law offers the Stonewall Scholarship for students who will contribute significantly to the diversity of the law school student body because they have demonstrated leadership in matters of concern to lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender individuals, or they have worked to build or are able to describe how they plan to advance LGBTQ+ persons’ full equality or dignity during their careers as lawyers.
Members of the University of Georgia School of Law’s OUTLaw organization, a student group that represents LGBTQ+ law students and allies, regularly participate in the recruiting process by attending various recruiting events and sharing their experiences with prospective students.
