All our university therapists and physicians have basic proficiencies/training in LGBTQQ—at least for the level that they are working with their patients. That’s to say, LGBTQQ can be very much a specialist area at certain stages of treatment that would eclipse those proficiencies.
Sexual Identity and the Law
Our LGBTQ+ student organization, OutLaw, has access to funding on the same basis as our other student organizations. Our student fees have not supported student travel, with the exception of travel for our Law Review Editors-in-Chief to attend the National Conference of Law Reviews, our SBA President and ABA Representative to attend the ABA’s Annual and/or Mid-year meetings, and funding to our Public Interest Law Organization to support travel by any interested student to attend the Equal Justice Works Career Fair and Conference.
