We have reached out to prospective students who self-identify through their Law School Admission Council profile as LGBTQ+. In addition to sharing general information about the law school’s academic program and community, we share information about the OutLaw student organization and our inclusive community.
Students are given the opportunity to self identify in post-enrollment forms completed as part of orientation.
Students may work with the Office of the Registrar to ensure their name-in-use is used.

Student organizations received funding from our Student Bar Association. The SBA budget is provided by the administration.
Any student may apply for professional development funds from the Office of Career & Student Development.
We collect it in a survey our office sends to students prior to their arrival as 1Ls.
Elon Law places an emphasis on belonging and inclusion from orientation through graduation. We do everything within our power to ensure that students feel safe and welcome. Admittedly, because we are minimally staffed, sometimes we are reacting to student requests rather than being proactive, but I do believe we are improving each year.
